Fly fishing Merit Badge

One more Boy Scout earned his Fly Fishing merit badge. It was a beautiful morning... the water was really high and fairly clear. Another 2 or 3 feet and it would be going over the spillway. We worked the edge of the grass and saw a lot more peacock bass than I expected. Caught enough to have lots of fun and missed some big ones.
The hardest thing to teach a new fly fisherman is to keep the fly moving when the peacock bass starts chasing. It gets rally exciting when you see a half dozen, 2 or 3 pound fish start fighting over your fly. You tend to just stop and start yelling "Look at that". LOL LOL LOL
