HFFA Fishing report

Postby shanai » Mon Aug 19, 2013 6:51 am

Another hot sunny mostly bluebird day with water temperatures in the 81-84 degree range. One tuc and 13 bass ( no bob's this time ) in the average 1-2lb range were caught including a tagged bass.

The tag was kinda hard to read but hopefully this was the number.

Tag # 4893
1.7 oz
14 3/4 "
caught near the basin

The bite was sporadic, a few busts here and there but with very little cloud cover the action was slooww. Anglers reported catching fish in various ways so no real consistent pattern.

I got this big needlefish as we were leaving an area and had my lure dangling just in the water when I sorta hooked this guy.

:D

I was just saying last week that I hadn't heard of any tagged fish being caught lately... and here you guys get one.
I sent the information to Annette.
Will let you know when she gets back to me.
Thank you.
Aloha,
Stan
