Report 10-26-12 BIG TUC!!! Good Day!!!!!!

Postby Filthyfisherman » Sat Oct 27, 2012 5:45 am

Launched 9:30-4pm,,,, Bunch of Largemouth Bass,, Couple TUC's includeing a 3.5lbs hawg, RD's, a Nice Catfish, A Carp! Good Day!!! Sunny, Prt Cloudy, Wind west 1mph, BP 30.06r, WT 78-8.4 stained 1ft, Level 69.50f

Started out getting in line at mikimiki flats there was 3 boats lined up there, Yuengling picked up a nice LM quickly on a 2" gold spoon BassPro XPS spoon, our plan was to Test my Creature in different colors and setups etc,,, So we headed North to check it out, pitch some trees and maybe find a smallie, NADA,,,, Headed back torwards the Dam and by Kemo Island we were on them again.... Gold spoon and Silver 2" spoons were both producing well!!! Casting to the schooling action and letting it fall about 10ft, then jigging them back to the boat... Look for wind to ignited the schooling, even a passing boat will ignite them. Then cast as close to it as you can, then let it fall.. Keep an eye on your line as it falls,, then a snappy action whipping up, then letting it fall,,, Should produce for everyone... Lot of casting, cover a lot of water depth wise and I'd say run just past mikimiki flats to Kemo island, maybe under power lines and infront Kemmo Farms. Really look at your sonar and slow down at the areas which make the screen turn black mostly!!
