What Duck is This?

I heard there were some of those Laysan Island Ducks on Lake Wilson. They are spotted. This looked kind of spotted.
Or is it just a Mallard?
Here is a picture of one I got off of the internet. This on has a white spot around the eye. I don't think the ones I saw have that.
