Being that I've never fished Lake Wilson before, what lures (color/size/brand) should I stock up on at Bass Pro before I come to Hawaii? Any advice would be appreciated. Don't think my normal arsenol for the Potomac River here would get it done out there lol.

Welcome to the board, Hef. What kind of lures to bring would be dependent on what you want to catch. You should definitely stock up before you come to Hawaii. The selection here in Hawaii for freshwater fishing is limited. Check out the home page and look for lures, that should be a good place to start.

Thanks for the tip about the lures on the homepage. I guess most of my lures will work. As far as line, are the fish in the lake line shy (flourocarbon) or do you use mono? Is it too clear for braided line?
