troubleshoot this and reprogram the keypad?

Hello,

I have a ControPad 683 24-key programmable keyboard. I'm running Windows 7 and MacroMaster 5.2.1. I am trying to modify the programming on this keypad but when I try to Download, I get a "keyboard or driver not found" error message.

I was able to program the keyboard when I was on Vista, and when I run a test, all my existing key macros play fine. I am just unable to reprogram the keypad.

The fact that the systems sees the keyboard to playback macros means the keypad is connected to the system and Windows recognizes it as a keyboard.
Any suggestions on how I could troubleshoot this and reprogram the keypad?

Please help

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
